Agnel Jan Kalyan Kendra (AJKK), believes that next to survival, access to healthcare is a basic human right and not a privilege. As part of our commitment to poverty alleviation, community development and social justice, we provide Preventive Health Care through Non Invasive, sophisticated Diagnostic Devices, Special Eye Care and Surgical interventions, and Medical services through medicines and Health care Professionals, with referrals for free surgeries and emergencies to all residents of Khodda. Our focus in on the underprivileged and marginalized groups. The elderly and the neglected are specially taken care.
Our Health Initiatives
Every Friday, our dedicated team of Healthcare Professionals offers a free Health check up and free medicines service at our center. This vital initiative has been a lifeline for thousands of families who flock to the center each week, and so far 5,567 individuals have benefited from this service.
Blood Tests and Diagnostics
Through Sophisticated non Invasive Medical Diagnostics Devices, we have prevented major health scares and health emergencies for thousands of Khodda residents, and in collaboration with Max Healthcare several hundred blood tests and health profiling has been carried our.
Vision Care
Good eyesight is essential for a better quality of life, and we are proud to provide:
Monthly free eye check-up camps. 32 successful cataract surgeries have been carried out for zero cost to the patient at no cost, improving the vision and providing independence of movement and better quality of live to the elderly residents.
Health Check-up Camps
We organize free general health camps across different localities to reach those who may not be able to travel to our center. These camps provide access to basic health assessments, consultations, and essential medications.
Major Surgeries
We have also extended support for critical medical interventions.
4 major surgeries have been successfully arranged completely free of charge for individuals from slum areas who had no other means to afford the treatment.
